CPE Topic: The presentation will
cover the New Service Auditor Standard, SSAE16 which
will replace SAS70 for Service Organizations and
what this change means to Service Organizations.
This new standard will be effective with reporting
periods ending on or after June 15, 2011, but early
adoption is possible. David will highlight the
differences between SAS 70 and the new standard,
core concepts, new terms, and changes to the report.

Speaker: David Lewis, KPMG's Southeast Attestation Lead Partner,
is an Advisory Partner at KPMG with over
eighteen years of experience serving large US and
global clients in the areas of IT audit, business
process improvement and risk management. His
experience spans various business areas, including
finance and accounting, commercial lending, consumer
banking, retail brokerage, mortgage and capital
markets. He currently serves as the lead partner
for KPMG’s Southeastern Region Attestation practice
and has had experience working with numerous service
providers over the past 15 years.
